Summary
We are currently seeking a highly experienced professional nurse who is committed to quality service to fill the role of Nurse Educator. The Nurse Educator’s primary purpose is to promote excellence in nursing education in all our campuses across BC offering the PN program.
General Qualification
The ideal candidate must have an active license with the College of Registered Nurses' of BC (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses BC (CRPNBC), must possess a Bachelors in Nursing, a Masters degree in Nursing or Education is preferred, and has a minimum of five years of recent experience in nursing including three years in nursing education.
To be successful in the Nurse Educator role, you must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
- Knowledge of adult education principles & relevant experience in education
- Familiarity with curriculum development, program coordination, implementation, and evaluation
- Proven research, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to exhibit a professional attitude at all times
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, delegate, follow up and evaluate
- Flexibility and ability to deal with and promote change
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
Specific Responsibilities
Harnessing updated nursing knowledge and clinical best practices, the Nurse Educator is responsible for:
- Assuring quality and compliance of PN program through continuous monitoring of program content and delivery
- Empowering nursing faculty in providing high quality PN instruction though training, coaching and role modeling
- Assuring student achievement in CPNRE through continuous monitoring of academic performance and application of remediation strategies
- Promoting and supporting superior performance of students and nursing faculty
- Participating in PN curriculum development, implementation, update, review and evaluation
- Promoting, planning, implementing and evaluating best practices in the PN Program and supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Performing class observation regularly, analyzing results and developing support plans based on the results

Summary
The Eminata Group is looking for a Property Assistant and Facilities Coordinator for its offices located in downtown Vancouver. The purpose of the position is to assist the Manager, Real Estate in the ongoing maintenance, management, upgrading and support of all its properties and facilities.
Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Real Estate, the Property Assistant and Facilities Coordinator Position is accountable for the following:
- Assisting the Manager, Real Estate with all facets of the Real Estate department including property and facilities management, leasing, property acquisition and disposition
- Investigating and resolving campus facility and tenant issues
- Preparing and distributing tenant letters and notices as necessary
- Sourcing and reviewing contracts related to property management and implementing areas of improvement, cost savings and corporate standards
- Interacting and communicating with onsite maintenance personnel and maintain effective communication with campus staff and contractors
- Obtaining quotes, source contractors and review bids for furniture, fixtures and equipment orders
- Liaising with accounting for year-end reporting, invoices and purchase orders
- Applying and submitting business license renewals and applications
General Qualification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain high integrity
- Good judgment and ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service
- Ability to work with information of a confidential nature
- Show initiative and work proactively to make sure that the interests of the owner are represented at all times
Education and Experience:
- Administrative experience required
- A minimum of two year commercial real estate experience (commercial property management experience is an asset)
- Some post secondary education preferred
