Summary
Schej Realty Inc. is currently seeking a proactive, results-driven, goal oriented and customer focused individual to fill the role of Facilities and Project Coordinator.
General Qualification
The ideal candidate has a post-secondary education in business, trades, building technology or a related field and has a minimum of three years experience working with trades people and construction projects. You must be able to communicate and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders and have an eye for cost improvement and efficient use of space.
Your strong organizational and problem solving skills, and your flexibility and adaptability in attending to emergencies is critical in your success in this role.
Specific Responsibilities
The Facilities and Project Coordinator will be responsible for project planning and day-to-day oversight of all new and existing Eminata Group/Schej Realty properties and facilities. Specifically, this role will involve the following:
• Property management, operational management and oversight of capital projects
• Resolving facilities, tenancy and property management requests and complaints
• Negotiating, coordinating, communicating and liaising with landlords, contractors and tenants in a professional and expedient manner
• Conducting due diligence on potential acquisitions
• Conducting site inspections, improving space use efficiencies, standardizing and enforcing corporate consistencies, and conducting quality control of all facets of facilities
• Overseeing all facets of new campus set up and/or relocation
• Acquiring furniture and fixtures and coordinating set up while ensuring cost efficiencies
• Devising standards and systematic approaches to improve existing facilities and plan new facilities
• Travelling to campuses and properties
