Summary

Eminata Group is seeking an enthusiastic business or financial professional to fill the role of Regional Financial Planner (FP) and Financial Administrator (FA). The Regional FP/FA will provide support to campus FP’s and FA’s within the region of Alberta. 

This position will be either based in Calgary or Edmonton 

The Regional FP/FA will be responsible for supporting campus’ by generating, overseeing, monitoring and responding to challenges pertaining to financial obligations of the campus.  This may include training initiatives, creating and compiling reports and financial auditing.

The candidate will be selected due to relevant work history, strong communication, leadership interpersonal and teamwork skills.  The ability to demonstrate exceptional support consultation to the business and its campuses will be essential for the Regional FP/FA position.

There is 1 position to fill

1 Full Time Regional Financial Planner and Financial Administrator (FP/FA)

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Have 2 years post-secondary education; Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Basic training in office practices, accounting and communication

- One to three years’ experience in a service orientated, fast paced environment

- Over one year education and experience in Finance or Accounting

- Personal vehicle for business travel

- Ability to multitask, work independently and is detailed orientated

- Must have a solid working knowledge of MS Office

- Experience in training employees including developing training modules will be considered an asset

The Regional FP/FA responsibilities will include:

- Maintain approved tracking systems for new applications and missing documents for timely follow up and completion in accordance with Company policy and procedures

- Participate in ministry sponsored financial assistance program training

- Maintain campus bad debt results within established budgetary goals and objectives

- Monitor and follow up with campuses regarding the status of pending student loan documents

- Ensure campuses are following established management practises and company policy and procedures

Supporting Campus support’s financial department by providing accurate and timely reports and information as required

Tracking and monitoring campus AR processes

Monitoring student finance collection activities for outstanding student accounts to ensure timely recovery of payments and maintain appropriate AR levels

Monitoring institutional loan programs, direct bill programs and financial transactions

Implementing, monitoring and enforcing corporate financial policy and procedures

Assisting in the coordination of the institution’s response to any internal/external audits related to business office operations

Compiling, preparing and analyzing monthly reports in support to Student Finance operations

Ensure active communication and cohesive working relationships with all other departments

Assist in training new financial staff and developing current staff to influence turnover

Manage additional projects to support growth and development of the financial department

May also be asked to provide holiday coverage and additional support during peak seasons

Summary

Grade 7 students will receive a program of studies that will deliver the government-approved Chinese course content in conjunction with an English language curriculum allowing students to meet or exceed North American English language competency requirements. This program will provide a bilingual learning environment. North American-trained faculty will be required to teach Grade 7 Mathematics and English and will provide an innovative extra-curricular English language enrichment. Chinese faculty will teach the required Chinese curriculum.

Orientation and curriculum planning will commence with employment August 1, 2013. The ideal candidate(s) would have second language certification, teaching experience, in addition to being adaptable and culturally aware.
